The 15th Junior Film Fleadh takes place in Galway’s Town Hall Theatre 2009 showcasing a range
of features, shorts, animated films and workshops for young people from 6 – 18 years old.

The aim of the festival is to complement the teaching of French, (The Class) German (The Counterfeiters), English (King Lear, The Cove) and Irish
(Eachtraí I nGaeilge) in schools by showing films in these languages.

Their goal is to elevate the experience of cinema going for younger
audiences and to have them discover the potential power of cinema. Workshops will include Acting for the Screen, Animation and Radio
Production alongside a Script Competition and a Careers Discussion.
