Cava Spanish Restaurant Cava is owned by husband and wife JP McMahon and Drigín Gaffey. Having worked at home and abroad their passion for Mediterranean cuisine, particularly Spanish cooking is unmistakable. Galway’s first restaurant devoted exclusively to Spanish food, wine, and beer,

Cava aims to provide you with all the ambiance and regional aromas of the Iberian Peninsula. We can whole heartily recommend their rustic Paella which is the perhaps tastier than anything we have ever tried before either here or in Spain. Combining only the finest local seafood, meats (Colleran’s Butchers), free range (Chicken and eggs), and organic produce with specially imported Spanish delicacies including the finest olives and Serano Ham and anchovies.

Cava makes its own salted cod and its menu reflects a ‘nose to tail’ eating policy with cuts of meats, such as tongue, trotters, and offal available. Their onsite shop offers a variety of Spanish products and the Cava team are also available for quality outside catering if required. email: blasfoods@gmail.com
